2022-2023 Events
A little spotlight as to the events coming up for the year:
Licking County Homeschoolers' Field Trip
The Farm at Walnut Creek
Tuesday or Wednesday
September 27 or 28 anytime 8:30am-6pm
The Farm at Walnut Creek
4147 County Road 114, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681
Bring your own packed lunch and drinks.
Do you know what an Aoudad is? What is the largest bird in the world? Which animal spits when it gets upset?
This is just scratching the surface of the world you will discover when you visit The Farm at Walnut Creek. And you won't learn it through a boring lecture. Instead get up close and feed these animals. Still not enough excitement for you? You get to do this from a horse drawn wagon. Many of the animals have names and certainly each have personalities of their own.
Also on The Farm you can tour Amish houses. Take a moment to relax and enjoy life at a slower pace here in Ohio's Amish Country.
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS VITAL TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS FIELD TRIP AT OUR GROUP RATE lickingcountyhomeschoolers.regfox.com/field-trip-the-farm-at-walnut-creek

If your teen or tween doesn’t know how to dance, don’t worry. We have dance instructor and DJ, Eddie Powell, who will teach them the dances and then we implement what we’ve learned. Yes, we snuck learning in there! Yes, you can add it to your transcript, lol.
